European Tour Heads to Paris.

An excellent field has assembled for this week's French Open in Paris.

Once again - and for the 16th time in the past 18 years - the tournament will be played at the superb Le Golf National complex.

This stadium-style course has produced many exciting finishes since it first staged the event in 1991.

Water comes into play on four of the final six holes, which all helps to increase the tension and drama as the tournament reaches a climax on Sunday afternoon.

The course is fairly undulating and has greens that are generous in size.

Many of those teeing-up in Paris put in creditable performances at Torrey Pines recently, most notably Lee Westwood who tops the bill this week.

Other US Open top-ten finishers in attendance are Robert Karlsson and Miguel Angel Jimenez.
